He woke up earlier, earlier than the alarm he had set to go to class early, and didn’t go back to sleep like he usually does. Instead, he got up and went to his bookshelf and grabbed something. He was looking trough his notebook, he started it after the first year. Even though, the thing he was looking for, he didn’t need to look it up, he had that in his thoughts all the time, literally;
He talked about that or somebody talked to him about it about 6 years ago and it’s been in his mind ever since; “… during a moon eclipse, your powers will be weakned but, during a solar eclipse they will be stronger, a lot stronger.”
Days after that, somebody else said that their birthdays were important, we would get extra energy, or even new powers as a gift.
With that in mind, he went to the bathroom, he had to get ready to leave.
Britney and Demi… Really?
A lot, and I do mean A LOT, of us wanted Nicole gone, and that’s great but, Britney and Demi?
Let’s put it this way: how are they going to train their category? Teaching them how to go bald with a razor? How to keep fans even when in rehab?
Ok, I will see the season, not all of it, I am sure but, a few episodes and specially the end of the thing.
No, I will not be any spoiler for those who did not watch Smash’s season finale last night.. But, you gotta give me this, that thing was incredible, I know I watch Glee too because, let’s face it, they have their moments but, Smash is another level, the plot, the cast, the producers; you just know it is going to be huge for a few years.
I have not seen Glee for over two months, but doing research found that Groff appears again, as well that gay kid from the Glee Project, yeah, the one that did not win, and also that they did an episode with only Broadway songs, including one from Phantom of The Opera and Chicago. Yes, they have their moments.
Smash was a moment the entire season, one thing though, I think I’m one of the few that actually saw the entire thing, do not know somebody else that had seen it. So, who do I talk with about it? Tumblr ;)
Alone. Yes, that’s the keyword, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn’t hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym… .
Their eyes opened very fast; darkness, silence, the laugh’s echo in their ears. The darkness started to vanish, the light from outside their windows entered the room and made it clearer by the second. They were safe, that’s what they all thought, even though they wanted to get in touch with each other, no one did, no one called or texted the others. They were all in their own beds, closed their eyes, turned around and went back to sleep, all but one of them, he looked at the time first, sighed, closed his eyes, covered himself with the blue blanket and grab a pillow with his arms.
The laugh, that laugh you hear at horror movies, but not at the beginning when it’s boring and everyone’s happy, but the laugh you hear when evil’s winning.
They all knew that laugh, they’ve heard it before and they know what could happen if they didn’t leave the place as soon as possible. They looked around, it was getting dark, the meadow they were practicing at wasn’t supposed to get dark at all or even have laughs coming out of the wood around them. It was a very big meadow, you could fit a carnival in there, but they only used that place to practice and talk for a while after that. It had a pretty great green grass, it always looked like it was recently cut, the kind of grass you see in the graden that belongs to that very annoying neighbor during summer. There were a few rocks there, different sizes, one of them was even as tall as them.
The laugh, THAT laugh, it was getting louder by the second. One of them left in a blink of an eye and the other 3 looked at each other thinking if they should leave too or make sure that the laugh wouldn’t stay there until their next visit. Calling others crossed their mind, get help but, from the approach it had; they wouldn’t need it. Another eye crossing moment and the three of them left as fast as the first one.
Got to live for over a month at Philadelphia. It is a pretty great place, actually. All this history around and lots of opportunities for those who are looking for a way to study more or even just succeed as a profesional because of the amount of big companies or the so called multi-national companies.
I used a day to do some real tourism. Saw the Bell of Liberty, Chinatown, Congress Hall, a few important squares, even passed by the Library. Philadelphia’s center city is pretty much like an old city in Europe; Paris for example, or even Amsterdam. A lot of small streets, and the type of houses around, the way the little stores are arranged along the streets. We all saw it, and if some of you didn’t, you have to see it in the movie “Midnight in Paris”. The only thing that was missing from that movie was some more real actors from France. I know they had Cotillard and that was enough reason to get me to see the movie without even reading the plot but, come on, we all know that Wilson wasn’t exactly the choice we would go with. Those streets were very amazing, more in particular the one where the guy’s get picked up every night. Small, just one car fits there, with its sidewalks. Nothing like “the rest of the cities” we see in movies, series, or shows, where we don’t even get to see a sidewalk because, sometimes, there’s none.
There are rails, trains, subways, buses among other ways of transportation. It makes it very easy to go from one point to another if there’s not enough money to do it with, some people just love taxis, I hate them, no matter the country I’m in. In the U.S. they all love cars, they all complain about gas price and yet, they all have cars and love them, the bigger the better, we all know (because you don’t have to be very smart for this) that the bigger the car the more gas you have to spend, so, they’re nuts and they’re happy that way. As long as they’re happy, the rest of the world is
Next time I’m not going to write about a day, I’m just going to start writing a story. Maybe I’ll get to read it to my niece or little cousins some day. Why not to mention kids of my own? Unless I get to adopt one by myself, I don’t think I’ll get to “share” one with somebody else, ever.
Superb. “There you are”

Magnificent
Alice in Wonderland Concept Art by Michael Kutsche
Were you, like me, watching Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and pondering how they could take a considerably creepy tale and somehow make it even more LSD-shit-crazy? Well you can blame Michael Kutsche for that, as he worked on the concept designs that would eventually make their way into the theaters and nightmares of people everywhere. You can see his most current work in theaters right now in John Carter of Mars.
